Finally finishes!!!!

Don't you just Love getting some WIP's out of the way. I know I do and that is exactly what I've been able to do this week. These two projects have been either on my mind or in progress, or both for what feels like forever and I am so happy to be able to show them!

Finally introducing... my Citrus Place mats!

These guys have been on the WIP list for quite some time, they were one of those projects which constantly got pushed to the side as other projects same and went. Unfortunately for these babes, they didn't turn out the way I had imagined, however I am happy with the way that they have turned out.... Minus the mismatched seams and corners which a few friends have pointed out will be covered with a dinner plate anyway!

These are super bright to add a pop of colour to my very very white house. I'm talking white walls, tiles, blinds aaaah!

Now... This next project was in the works since I went to the Melbourne Quilt and Craft fair last July..... Soooo it's been a mere 9 months in the making. This one I bought from a stall at the fair which is listed here and came with a pattern of the double moss stitch and instructions to knit it. Unfortunately the pattern for the double moss was wayyy off, and of course I had to get creative and come up with my own pattern plus, make it bigger than what the original pattern said.

And fair to say, I definitely made it bigger. The images below are of the cowl wound around my neck twice. Yep.... It almost touches the ground.

But I do love it, I can choose whether to wear it twice folded or thrice. Which also allows me to wear this beauty on a larger number of days in varying degrees of cold.

Can you tell I don't like taking photos of myself? I look very bored in the last picture.
and I'm also wearing my PJ bottoms

So what do you think guys? What are finishing up this weekend?

Linky Linky Linky!

    1. Thanks Lyn, I know the feeling of not being able to get knitting it took me a while and I'm curently in the process of teaching 25 teenage girls how to at the moment, and i'm seeing all those lovely expressions of dispair and frustration I once felt.
